In November 2004, IMC-led consortium was awarded the License by Ennore Port Limited to develop, operate and maintain the Marine Liquid Terminal comprising berth and storage tankfarm, on Build, Operate and Transfer basis for a period of 30 years. The project facilities include:
- A liquid berth, with initial capacity of 3 million tonnes per annum and capable of handling import/export of all kinds of liquid and gaseous products including petroleum products and LPG.
- The jetty shall be designed to handle tankers upto 125,000 dead weight tonnage. It will have a total length of 300 meters (mooring dolphin to mooring dolphin) and the draft alongside will be 13-14 meters.
- Storage tankfarms inside the Port boundary limits connected to the proposed liquid berth through multiple (4-6) pipelines for handling various liquid products.
- Ennore Port has allotted land of over 30 acres or more for developing tankage and related facilities. Depending on user requirements, storage tanks for liquids and gases will be set up and offered to users
The project is being implemented through a Special Purpose Company, namely, Ennore Tank Terminals Pvt. Ltd. (ETTPL), incorporated in November 2004. Financial close for the project has been achieved. The Ministry of Environment and Forests has granted environmental clearance for the project.
We offer the below mentioned facilities and services:
- Berthing facility for tankers at Ennore Port
- Dedicated storage facilities for liquids and liquefied gases, connected to the berth through pipelines
- Receipt and delivery facilities – vessel unloading/loading, tank truck loading
- Other facilities such as blending, drumming etc as per requirements of users
As we have been awarded the Project on 30-year basis and adequate land is being provided by the Port, we can satisfy the long term requirements for handling and storage of bulk liquid products at Ennore Port.
