IMC Group (IMC) is in the business of port-based bulk liquid storage and international trading for the last seven decades.
Storage Network
IMC currently offers storage for bulk liquid at kandla, JNPT, Mumbai, Goa, Karwar, Mangalore, Cochin, Chennai, Kakinada, Vizag, Kolkata, Haldia and Ennore. The combined capacity is in excess of 930,000 kilo liters for storage petroleum products, liquefied gases, petrochemicals, acids and vegetable oils. At Kandla, IMC is operating a liquefied gas terminal for storing butadiene and compatible gases. This expertise in handling hazardous and non-hazardous liquids has enabled the company to serve a wide range of customers including public sector companies, traders and multinational corporations.
At IMC, quality, safety, heath and environmental protection are of prime concern. IMC’s Mangalore, Mumbai, JNPT, Kandla, Budge Budge and Handia terminals are certified for Quality Management System under ISO 9001-2000 standards by Det Norske vertas. Efforts are on to secure certification for other terminals in the mear future.

International Trading
IMC has firmly established itself as the largest and most reliable merchant exporter of molasses from India. Backed by its experience in handling a variety of products and infrastructure network, IMC has diversified its trading activities into a wide range of products including agro commodities and fuels. IMC supplies high quality imported fuel oils, molasses and alcohol in bulk to industrial customer at the ports of their choice. IMC will continue to focus on export and import opportunities for a wide portfolio of commodities and products and enhance supply chain competencies for providing end-to-end logistics solutions.
Outsourcing Services
As part of expansion plans, IMC is foraying into development of port-based and related infrastructure projects on BOOT/BOT/BOO basis. For industrial customers, IMC offers to construct and operate tank terminals, depots, pipeline networks, etc. IMC is committed to be the outsourcing logistics partner of choice by providing end-to-end supply chain solution to the total satisfaction of customers.
Future
IMC has active plans to expand its existing storage terminals at JNPT, Kakinada and Haldia ports. Future plans including the network to new location Tuticorin port. These initiatives will enable customers of have multiple options and the flexibility to decide on the port through which they want to import or export their raw material and products.
